The Penny Mint presents an afternoon of poetry, spoken word and live music at the Pride of our Footscray Community Bar on Saturday, June 22nd.
Hear from our resident artists, some of Melbourne’s up and coming young writers and musicians. Then, from 3pm we open the mic – accompanied by our jam band, have your voice heard in an inclusive, friendly environment.

The Penny Mint acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional custodians of the land on which the Pride of our Footscray Community Bar stands; the Boonwurrung and Woiwurrung people of the Kulin nation. The Penny Mint also acknowledges and pays respect to the Elders of the lands on which our work reaches. It always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
